Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related).
• Zero to five years of professional experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Preference for 1–3 years in construction, installation, manufacturing, field services, equipment, or project operations.
• Demonstrated leadership through athletics, coaching, military service, student orgs, or entrepreneurship.
• Background in competitive athletics preferred for discipline, resilience, leadership, team mindset.
• Evidence of owning and delivering results beyond assigned responsibilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in field performance.
• Strong analytical ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to earn credibility with installers, electricians, and technicians.
• Willingness to work at job sites and travel across Houston market.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field installation and construction activities in the Houston market.
• Spend most time near operation with site visits and inspections.
• Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for safety and quality.
• Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Improve crew assignments, material flow, and sequencing.
• Build dashboards tracking labor, cycle time, and cost.
• Redesign processes and test improvements in the field.
• Establish standardized procedures for consistent execution.
• Coach field personnel and coordinate with project management and leadership.
• Present Houston performance and improvement plans to leadership.
• Make confident decisions under changing conditions.
