Job summary

Dynamic EcoHome is seeking a Field Operations Manager - Mechanical Engineering to build and lead a disciplined field operation in Houston. You will spend significant time at job sites with crews, making quick decisions and turning engineering analysis into measurable improvements.

You will manage installers, electricians, technicians, and other field personnel, develop SOPs and dashboards, and coach rising field leaders while traveling across the Houston market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Zero to five years of professional experience; New Grads are encouraged to apply.
• Leadership demonstrated through athletics, coaching, military service, student organizations, internships, entrepreneurship, or team-based competitions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to make decisions and act.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field performance across safety, quality, cost, schedule and customer experience.
• Manage crew productivity, labor utilization, installation capacity, and project throughput.
• Plan Houston field scheduling, workforce planning, and job-site sequencing.
• Develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistent execution as volume grows.
• Present Houston’s performance, constraints, priorities, and improvement plans to leadership.
• Coach installers, electricians, technicians, and emerging field leaders.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, warehouse, customer service, and senior leadership.
• Lead root-cause analyses and continuous improvement in field operations.
