Dynamic EcoHome in Houston is hiring an ambitious Mechanical Engineer to help build a disciplined, efficient, and scalable field operation in Houston.

This is not a traditional desk-based engineering position. You will spend a significant portion of your time at job sites, with crews, and inside the daily operation. You will see problems firsthand, make decisions quickly, and turn engineering analysis into measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 0-5 years of professional experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Experience in construction, installation, manufacturing, or field operations preferred.
• Leadership demonstrated through teams, sports, work, or projects.
• Willingness to travel and work at job sites across Houston market.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field installation and construction activities in the Houston market.
• Spend significant time on job sites with regular field visits and inspections.
• Set clear safety, quality, productivity, and schedule expectations for field teams.
• Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and improve labor utilization.
• Build dashboards to track labor, cycle time, throughput, and cost.
• Coach field personnel and develop future field leaders.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and operations.
