Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Housing Navigator in Los Angeles to develop and implement housing plans for program participants and coordinate housing referrals.

You will provide strength-based case management, work with landlords, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with federal and local housing programs while maintaining HMIS records and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BA in human services field with minimum two years of experience or AA with four years of experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid Class C California Driver's License.
• HMIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based case management and service coordination to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining stable housing.
• Monitor and enforce program policies using evidence-based practices.
• Develop relationships with landlords or property managers and maintain housing opportunities inventory.
• Coordinate access to housing resources and referrals, including Rapid Rehousing and Tenant Based Rental Assistance.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate HMIS data.
