Job summary

MWVCAA is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to assist clients in navigating housing resources and pathways to stable housing in Salem, Oregon. The role emphasizes compassionate client support, documentation, and collaboration with community partners.

The position requires experience in homeless services, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate with integrity and confidentiality in a dynamic shelter environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related social service experience, direct client care.
• Advanced degree with two+ years homeless service delivery experience and related certifications/licensing.
• Bilingual capabilities preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with clients to ensure access to housing assessments and resources.
• Attends and completes required trainings annually.
• Assesses client eligibility and gathers documentation for intake and shelter placement.
• Provides case management and housing placement support to help clients achieve self-sufficiency.
• Develops action plans identifying needs, barriers and strengths.
• Maintains relationships with community partners and ensures data quality and compliance.
