Job summary

Clackamas Women’s Services is hiring a Housing Case Manager to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in securing housing and coordinating services with community partners. The role involves completing housing assessments, advocating for clients, and coordinating with housing programs while maintaining waitlists.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety planning, and assisting with budgeting, education, and health services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in domestic-violence/sexual-assault programs.
  • Minimum of one year of experience providing housing services.
  • Willingness to support survivors and understand systemic oppression.
  • Ability to work non-judgmentally with diverse populations.
  • Completion of 40 hours of domestic-violence advocacy training before commencing duties.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Coordinated Housing Assessment paperwork and Diversion Packets.
  • Prepare and submit housing paperwork, including income verification, rental assistance calculations, utility allowances, rent reasonableness, and inspection reports.
  • Assist participants in accessing other housing programs and maintain waitlists.
  • Advocate for participants, provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and home visits.
  • Support participants with budgeting, financial empowerment, domestic violence education, parenting education, health and immigration or court related services.
  • Organize and provide transportation in the agency vehicle when needed.
  • Attend housing community meetings, represent CWS at community events, and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Track participants’ intake and orientation appointments, ensure documentation is complete.
  • Advise and collaborate with Housing Program Manager on waitlist follow-up.
  • Complete finance request forms for housing funds and unique payments.
  • Cooperate with other CWS staff and follow assigned duties.
