Job summary

Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore is seeking a Preservation Manager to oversee the Preservation Department, ensuring loan deployment, program operations, and customer flow through the rehabilitation pipeline.

The role involves leading organizational discussions, identifying community needs, and developing preservation initiatives, with a focus on data accuracy and funding coordination. Located in Baltimore, the position supports collaboration across departments and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of affordable housing or related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in any related field. Additional experience can be substituted for educational requirements.
• Valid government issued ID
• Satisfactory background check
• Satisfactory reference check

Responsibilities

• Manage NHS rehab program to include loan deployment, ensuring proper program implementation and data tracking.
• Support resource development efforts for Sr. Home Repair grants and coordinate implementation and tracking of available funds.
• Coordinate with Resource Development on departmental grant writing and reporting
• Advocate within NHS for programs that will support the preservation of homeownership units
• Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a positive, customer-first approach and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with Community Engagement on department outreach events
• Prepare quarterly reports for State, City, Foundations, and NeighborWorks
• Maintain funding source pipeline
• Coordinate loan review of potential loans
• Process weekly contractors draw requests in a timely manner
• Ensure accurate data input in AirTable, Neighborly, Salesforce portals
