Job summary

Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee planning and coordination of maintenance programs for assigned properties in Baltimore, MD. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensuring workmanship in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and related trades while maintaining HUD standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus training related to maintenance, HVAC, and HUD quality standards.
• Ten years of building/facilities maintenance and repair experience, including two years in a supervisory or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and coordination of maintenance programs for assigned properties.
• Supervise maintenance technicians across carpentry, painting, metal work, plumbing, electrical work and related services.
• Ensure work orders are completed efficiently and within standards; monitor vacancy turnover and quality of work.
• Respond to residents' complaints and maintain courteous service.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage on-call/overtime processes.
