Job summary

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks a Home Preservation Coordinator to support Housing Preservation programs. You will manage homeowner applications, documentation, scheduling, and homeowner communications, collaborating with Construction, Family Services, and partner agencies to ensure a smooth homeowner experience.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, data management, and coordination of logistics, volunteers, and partners to advance safe, decent, and affordable housing in Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; experience working with homeowners or social services strongly considered.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service, case coordination, construction administration, or nonprofit program support.

Responsibilities

• Process homeowner intake, data entry, and eligibility documentation.
• Maintain organized files for homeowner cases and track program participation.
• Prepare reports for grants, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate scheduling, communications, and site visits with staff, contractors, and volunteers.
• Support AmeriCorps, volunteers, and interns assigned to Housing Preservation work.
