Job summary

LA Family Housing is seeking a Housing Navigator to assist participants facing housing crises. You will develop housing plans, budgets, and coordinate connections to permanent housing and services across Los Angeles County.

The role requires direct field-based work, strong documentation, and collaboration with landlords, agencies, and service providers. A minimum of one year of relevant experience and driving responsibilities are included in this position.

Qualifications

• At least one year of work history or transferrable skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with confidential data and HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement housing plans and participant budgets.
• Connect participants to permanent housing and community resources.
• Provide direct case management and crisis intervention.
• Maintain timely case notes and compliant documentation in HMIS/CHMAP.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support housing goals.
