Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform a range of tenant file compliance tasks focusing on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility under Section 42. The role requires interpreting regulations, identifying risks, and ensuring timely, accurate engagements is key.

Position available in multiple cities including Long Beach, CA, with potential remote or hybrid work options. Travel domestically is expected around 25-35% depending on workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant Section 42 experience with a focus on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; COS/HCCP certifications strongly preferred; able to obtain certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews for designated clients.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas and recommend actions.
• Research federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings with supervision.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a deadline-driven environment.
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
