Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring rooms and spaces meet brand standards and safety requirements.

You will train staff, monitor performance with the Operations Manager, manage inventory, and uphold cost controls while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires a high school diploma, multiple years in housekeeping with supervisory experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 5 years housekeeping experience incl. supervisory training.
• Experience in extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations to meet quality standards and guest service goals.
• Ensure staff training and supply availability to perform duties.
• Lead recruitment, development, and supervision of Housekeeping staff.
• Inspect suites and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Maintain security of linen and supplies; enforce policies.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to manage housekeeping and laundry equipment.
