Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, uphold Sonesta’s culture of caring, and drive guest satisfaction with safe, clean environments across the property.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate across departments to achieve productivity goals while maintaining high standards for cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are important for the role.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills with hospitality industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations to maintain quality and standards for guests and staff.
• Ensure cleaning and servicing of rooms and spaces per Sonesta standards, including inspections.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment with cost-control measures.
• Compile and report accurate guest room status to front office.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily cross-department communication.
• Ensure adherence to Sonesta safety and sanitation standards; respond to guest complaints.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as required and handle emergencies.
