Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel is seeking a Floor‑Room Inspector (Senior Housekeeper) to ensure guestrooms, suites, and public areas meet cleanliness and brand standards before guest check‑in.

The role involves inspecting 35–40 rooms daily, supervising attendants, coordinating repairs with Engineering, updating PMS statuses, and managing inventory. Strong detail focus and communication are essential; physical stamina is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hotel housekeeping, cleaning, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail to spot flaws like smudged mirrors or misaligned pillows.
• Excellent communication skills to give feedback and coordinate with the front desk via two‑way radios.
• Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Room inspections: evaluate 35 to 40 guest rooms per day for beds, linens, bathrooms and amenity placement.
• Lead and train Room Attendants and Housepersons; conduct pre-shift meetings and assign daily tasks.
• Identify and coordinate fixes for maintenance issues with Engineering.
• Update room statuses in the PMS to mark rooms as clean and ready for front desk.
• Manage stock rooms, cart supplies, linen closets, and Lost‑and‑Found; assist with cleaning when needed.
