Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper in the greater Albany, NY area. This full-time role covers cleaning of resident apartments and common areas, with a schedule including Wed–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat–Sun 7am–3pm.

The position offers hourly pay of $16.00–$18.00 based on experience, generous PTO, holidays, health plans, retirement plan, and flexible scheduling. Join a team focused on compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas

Housekeeper Responsibilities include:
