Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas at our Salisbury, MD location. Per Diem schedule and competitive hourly pay based on experience support your work-life balance.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, following a structured schedule, and ensuring residents' rights are respected. Prior experience in similar environments is preferred, with ability to operate standard cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment as required.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Clean public areas and residents' apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Perform housekeeping duties following schedule and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and polish room furnishings, fixtures, and public areas.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicatedHousekeeper.

Housekeeper Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
• Cleans public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas

Housekeeper Education & Experience:

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as: mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
