Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Housekeeper to join our team in Colonie, NY. This full-time role covers cleaning of resident apartments, public areas, and facilities in accordance with a defined schedule and supervisor directions.

Responsibilities include maintaining residents’ rights, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Prior one-year experience preferred; reading and following written instructions is essential.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
• Must be able to operate cleaning equipment as required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
