Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Orchard Park, NY is seeking an energetic Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in public areas and residents' apartments. The role requires following a cleaning schedule, handling routine housekeeping duties, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents as part of a compassionate care team.

Compensation starts at $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience, with generous PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• One year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
