Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Delmar, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our caregiving team. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow schedules, and ensure sanitary conditions while respecting residents' rights and comfort.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule (Wed-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat-Sun 7am-3pm) and hourly pay based on experience. We provide generous benefits including PTO, holidays, health plans, 401(k) with company match, and flexible scheduling to support

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in a similar environment (on-the-job training preferred).
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor.
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper.

Schedule: Full Time

Wed - Fri 9am-5pm and Sat-Sun 7am-3pm

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour – based on experience

Housekeeper Responsibilities include:
