Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Specialist – Workforce Management to manage daily schedule reports and adjust staffing based on callouts and daily business needs. The role supports smooth hotel operations and requires strong computer skills and hospitality scheduling experience.

Key duties include rostering, attendance tracking, and coordinating with Front Office and Housekeeping to reflect current room statuses. Nights, weekends, and holidays shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• 1–2 years scheduling experience in a hotel/resort.
• Previous Four- or Five-Star hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage Team Member phone line for call outs and replacements and promptly notify departments.
• Prints daily roster schedules, pit sheet compacts, duty sheets and/or daily timesheets and sends to appropriate departments.
• Print weekly refusal logs and sends to appropriate departments.
• Assist in maintaining Virtual Roster Employee Profiles (skills, work rules, seniority, roles).
• Update Rex daily with housekeeping credit assignments and monitor room statuses with Housekeeping and Front Office teams.
• Maintain daily attendance and call logs accurately.
• Safety is an essential function of this job.
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
