Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Hotel Sales Coordinator to support event bookings and coordinate with hotel departments and outside vendors to ensure that meetings run smoothly.

You will respond to inquiries by phone and email, prepare proposals, generate reports, and liaise with clients, as well as coordinate with the sales and marketing team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting hotel sales or events is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and outside vendors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.
• Answer client / bookers questions about property facilities/services (hours, rates, room types, packages, promotions).
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
• Coordinate internally with the sales & marketing team.
• Generate reports, prepare proposals, collect details, and coordinate with clients & suppliers.
