Job summary

The Townsend Hotel is seeking a Regular Full Time Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in the lobby, guest rooms, and public areas in Birmingham, MI. You will respond to guest requests, press and deliver items, and ensure guest belongings are handled with care.

We value attention to detail, ability to multitask, and adherence to franchise standards. The role requires indoor work, lifting, and standing for long periods, with a benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, complete checklists, and complete work in a timely manner.
• Must have ability to communicate problems to hotel Manager or Supervisor on duty.

Responsibilities

• Checks lobby area and all public restrooms frequently for cleanliness and replenish guest supplies.
• Vacuum behind front desk and clean various offices of hotel.
• Clean Front Lobby, Fitness Center and Business Center according to standards.
• Wash, dry and press guest items.
• Check linen rooms to see if they have been properly secured.
• Respond to calls from the Front Desk Staff for guest requests; towels, amenities, laundry pick up and delivery.
• Be diligent about guest belongings and follow proper Housekeeping procedures.
