Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a diligent Public Area Attendant for its Birmingham property. You will maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges, while ensuring supplies are stocked and available for guest needs.

This role requires teamwork, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and hygiene. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift cleaning supplies, and adapt to weekend or holiday schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move cleaning supplies.
• Basic communication and guest service skills.
• Commitment to safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges.
• Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies including toiletries and towels.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated areas.
• Report maintenance issues and damages promptly.
• Adhere to hotel cleanliness, safety, and procedural standards.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency.
• Adapt to varying schedules and additional tasks as required.
