Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a House Attendant in Birmingham, AL to maintain guest floor and public space cleanliness. Responsibilities include cleaning hallways, lobbies, and restrooms, stocking carts, and assisting room attendants with tasks. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work effectively as a part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and Holidays.
• Ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English and communicate with team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, vacuums hallways, lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways.
• Maintains public area cleanliness including restrooms.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Stocks room attendant carts with linen and room supplies.
• Assists room attendants with heavy lifting and moving of furniture and equipment in guest rooms.
• Maintains storage areas organization and cleanliness
• May also assist with maintenance and cleaning of pool (as applicable)
• Responsible for careful use of supplies issued for cleaning and maintenance duties.
