Highgate Hotels in Greenville, SC seeks a courteous Front Desk Operator to handle guest communications and support hotel operations. You will answer calls, transfer lines, take messages, and manage wake-up information with accuracy.

You will work with the PBX system, operate the paging and radio systems, and assist guests with inquiries while supporting security and guest services as needed. A professional demeanor and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Sedentary work – occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Must multitask and prioritize duties to meet deadlines.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.
• Confidentiality and initiative are essential.

Responsabilités

• Answer telephone calls with a courteous greeting.
• Transfer calls using the PBX system and route accurately.
• Record messages and relay information to guests as requested.
• Input wake-up times into the system and confirm with guests.
• Operate the resort two-way radio and paging systems.
• Dispatch for security, guest services and property operations.
• Provide information and assist guests with inquiries and requests.
• Operate fax and copy machines as needed.
• Monitor rates and availability for guests.
• Remain calm and professional during emergencies or busy periods.
• Assist front desk staff as needed and maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Clocks out at end of shift and prepare for next shift.
