Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Greenville, SC seeks a Front Office Manager to oversee Guest Services, Concierge and Uniformed Services, ensuring attentive, efficient, and courteous service while maximizing room revenue.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, conducting interviews, payroll coordination, and ensuring SOP compliance across Front Office operations. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• The ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work long hours as sometimes required.
• Must communicate effectively with staff and guests at all levels.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance per Highgate Hotel SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all guests’ requests and issues at the Front Desk or via reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline Guest Services staff per SOPs.
• Prepare and conduct all Guest Services interviews and follow hiring procedures.
• Develop employee morale and training for Guest Services staff.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by monitoring daily status and rate variance.
• Coordinate all aspects of ongoing Front Office operations and reporting.
