Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year PBX/switchboard experience.
• One year front desk/guest services experience with knowledge of front desk and reservations systems.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls promptly by screening, transferring, and providing information.
• Take accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate party.
• Assist with clerical duties and maintain guest records with privacy.
• Direct callers to appropriate destinations with courteous communication.
• Coordinate guest requests with appropriate departments and follow up.
• Answer calls within 3 rings and reference guests by name.
• Mentor new staff and ensure high service standards.
• Maintain PBX equipment and keep the area clean and secure.
