Qualifications

• Clear communication is essential for conveying information to guests and colleagues.
• Must be able to multi task and manage several calls and requests simultaneously.
• Ability to evaluate and respond quickly to guest needs and requests.
• Ability to handle information sensitively and protect guest privacy.
• Strong listening skills to accurately capture guest messages and requests.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming/outgoing calls in a courteous and efficient manner according to procedures.
• Take and deliver messages according to standards.
• Maintain guest privacy at all times.
• Provide information about the hotel to guests and visitors.
• Be familiar with Emergency procedures and VIP procedures.
• Perform call accounting if applicable.
• Provide directions to the hotel and knowledge of surrounding area.
• Send/receive guest faxes and manage wake up calls.
