Job summary

Montage International is seeking a PBX Operator to serve as the heartbeat of the hotel, handling all incoming and outgoing communications with a courteous, professional approach.

You will support front desk tasks as needed and stay informed about local events to assist guests effectively. A high school diploma and prior switchboard experience are preferred, along with solid computer skills and exceptional telephone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in switchboard or guest communications is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all guest and in-house calls promptly and courteously.
• Provide switchboard services and forward messages and faxes as needed.
• Answer guest inquiries and relay information about local events and hotel services.
• Monitor wake-up calls and adhere to hotel policies and standards.
• Coordinate communications within the hotel, including emergencies and life safety.
