Job summary

Extended Stay America in Irvine, CA seeks an Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations, lead a team of hourly staff, and uphold ESA service standards.

You will train and onboard associates, ensure safety compliance, handle guest issues, and contribute to revenue growth while maintaining guest and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken; strong communication with guests and staff.
• Experience supervising 8–15 hourly staff.
• Ability to manage daily hotel operations and guest service.
• Willingness to train and onboard associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision of hourly staff and scheduling.
• Lead onboarding and training for associates.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Promote guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and escalation as needed.
• Assist in budgeting, labor control, and PAR levels.
• Support hotel sales activities and lead generation.
• Act as manager on duty in GM/MUGM absence.
• Oversee daily operations to maximize revenue and GOP.
