Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations and lead a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with the GM/MUGM, oversee scheduling and training, and ensure safety and policy compliance across shifts.

You will promote revenue growth, monitor guest satisfaction, and mentor staff to maintain ESA's service culture and high standards. This role requires hands-on leadership and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid fluency in English, reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Ability to operate hotel property management systems and audit functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and supervise 8–15 hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to hourly staff; schedule and direct daily activities.
• Onboard and train associates; ensure timely ESU training compliance.
• Promote safety, security and policy compliance at the property level.
• Drive revenue, reduce costs, and improve guest and associate satisfaction.
