Job summary

Extended Stay America in the United States (Factoria area) is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, supervise 8–15 hourly staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. The AGM will train, onboard, and enforce safety policies while supporting revenue growth and cost control.

Responsibilities include leading daily operations, handling escalations, budgeting support, and ensuring seamless front desk and housekeeping coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience in hospitality or retail.
• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Willingness to travel to assist additional locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day hotel operations as AGM, overseeing 8–15 hourly staff.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and ESU completion for associates.
• Promote safety and security compliance and policy adherence.
• Drive initiatives to increase revenue, reduce costs, and boost guest/associates satisfaction.
• Resolve guest issues promptly or escalate to GM/MUGM as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, labor scheduling, and PAR level maintenance.
• Provide coverage for front desk, housekeeping, or other duties as required.
