Job summary

Extended Stay America, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Seattle area properties in the Bellevue/Seattle corridor. The AGM will assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, lead hourly staff, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, onboarding and training, and close collaboration with the GM to drive revenue, control costs, and uphold brand policies across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing hotel day-to-day operations and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise hourly staff (8–15) including scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed per company standards.
• Drive revenue and manage costs to meet EBITDA goals.
• Coordinate with GM/MUGM and provide on-duty coverage as needed.
