Job summary

AvantStay in Miami is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance and safety, acting as on-site leader to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will supervise multiple teams, optimize scheduling and payroll, manage labor costs, coordinate vendor services, and develop engaging hotel programming such as live events.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years experience in hotel operations or a similar leadership role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Familiarity with hospitality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Guest Experience Agents, housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Schedule and lead team meetings to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Train and mentor staff to ensure service excellence.
• Manage guest complaints and ensure timely resolutions.
• Oversee front desk operations and provide concierge-level service.
• Collaborate on engaging hotel programming (live events, classes, exhibits).
• Manage labor, payroll, and budgeting to optimize productivity.
• Inspect rooms daily to meet cleanliness standards.
• Oversee safety and compliance with protocols.
