Job summary

AvantStay is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations of our Miami market properties, supervising staff, coordinating with maintenance, housekeeping, and operations, and ensuring guest and owner satisfaction.

The role requires travel to sites, managing owner relations, and being on-call after hours. Compensation includes 70,000–80,000 USD with a bonus, generous PTO, and company-sponsored insurance, plus complimentary stays.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management across multiple sites.
• 2+ years in people management and homeowner relations.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and flexible scheduling.
• Must be able to stand/walk/drive and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Proactive in routine maintenance and problem solving.
• Strong self-management and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office; CRM knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise market staff including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating performance, and task delegation.
• Serve as primary contact with property owners; review owner statements and statuses.
• Oversee guest/homeowner issue resolutions within timelines and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain AvantStay standards and metrics for owner satisfaction.
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks across properties in the market.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate operations at each property.
• Perform essential administrative duties and assign tasks to the team.
• Ensure inventory levels of consumables and linens for the market.
• Conduct regular property inspections for standards compliance.
• Respond promptly to guest/homeowner inquiries via email/phone/Slack/tickets.
• Travel daily to properties and be on-call after hours.
