Job summary

Evolution Hospitality seeks a Housekeeping Manager at our Miami property to supervise all housekeeping operations across rooms, public areas and laundry. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to manage daily schedules and guest satisfaction.

You will coordinate with maintenance, ensure safety training compliance, and drive quality standards in a fast-paced hotel environment in Miami. A proven supervisory background in hospitality is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must convey information clearly and think quickly under pressure.
• Must evaluate alternatives and maintain composure under stress.
• Must handle problems and analyze data from diverse sources.
• Must listen, understand and resolve coworker and guest concerns.
• Must understand financial information and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Approach guests and employees in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain attendance and uniforms per brand standards.
• Ensure safety, training compliance and certification requirements are met.
• Supervise Housekeeping and Laundry staff and monitor payroll timing.
• Prepare schedules and report wages to the General Manager weekly.
• Review room status and coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering as needed.
• Train staff and conduct interviews in line with SOPs.
• Balance room status reports with PMS data and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor supply levels and manage purchasing and invoicing per SOPs.
• Ensure guest privacy and security procedures are followed.
