Job summary

AvantStay is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations for our Miami market and Ft. Lauderdale area. You will supervise market staff, coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and operations teams, and travel daily to properties to ensure guest and owner satisfaction.

This role requires proximity to the market, with frequent travel and the supervision of an Assistant Area Manager in Ft. Lauderdale. A strong emphasis on relationship-building with property owners and meeting AvantStay

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience with multi-site locations.
• 2+ years of people management.
• 2+ years in homeowner relations.
• Ability and availability to work weekends, holidays, and with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to spend time standing, walking, and driving to properties.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising and managing market staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance.
• Establishing relationships with property owners and reviewing owner distribution statements.
• Overseeing guest and homeowner issue resolution within designated timeframes.
• Maintaining AvantStay standards and owner satisfaction metrics.
• Supervising housekeeping and maintenance tasks at properties.
