Job summary

Oxford Collection of Hotels in California seeks an Assistant General Manager to guide daily operations, uphold guest satisfaction, and maintain brand standards across front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. The AGM will support the GM, implement business strategies, and ensure exceptional guest service at all times.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget oversight, and people development in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or four year college degree preferred.
• At least three progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality field.
• Prior General Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily hotel operations ensuring sanitation and cleanliness.
• Assist GM with budgeting, P&L reviews and cost controls.
• Lead department leaders, ensure guest satisfaction and brand standards.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and compliance with labor laws.
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations to staff.
