Job summary

Havana Cabana in Key West, FL is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee all hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, optimize labor costs, and lead a dynamic team across front-of-house and back-of-house departments.

You will partner with Sales, F&B, and Finance to maximize revenue, maintain brand standards, ensure compliance with safety and employment laws, and foster a collaborative, guest-centric culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of hotel personnel including hiring, training, performance reviews, wages, coaching, discipline, termination, and scheduling.
• Monitor labor costs with forecasted revenues and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Sales and Banquet teams to ensure guest satisfaction and successful events.
• Manage inventory, cash handling, and adherence to payroll and wage policies.
• Develop inside sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and PR.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labor laws, and company policies.
