Job summary

ELEMENT - POOLER is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage. You will manage staffing, budgets, and financial controls while upholding brand standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting experience, and familiarity with hotel operations. Travel and guest service excellence are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Five years’ experience supervising at least 15 associates.
• Three years’ experience in hotel management, including budgeting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in Hilton or Marriott family of hotels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel staff greet guests, adhere to uniform standards, and resolve guest complaints to provide hospitality.
• Manage new hire processes for each department and complete required paperwork and orientation.
• Review ongoing training to keep associates updated on policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional, cohesive team by hiring, training, coaching, and developing associates.
• Develop and execute long- and short-term financial objectives and exceed budgeted sales and expense goals.
