Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a General Manager in Pooler, GA to oversee day-to-day hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. You will ensure operations stay within budget and brand quality standards, coordinate staffing with corporate, manage personnel and financial controls, and resolve escalated guest concerns.

You will lead staffing within the property, review training, drive profitability, and maintain regulatory compliance while championing guest

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of hotel regulations and compliance practices.
• Experience in budgeting and financial controls is preferred.
• Experience with government regulations applicable to hotels is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel staff greet guests, maintain uniforms, and resolve guest complaints to uphold hospitality standards.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding for all departments within the property.
• Review ongoing training to keep policies and procedures current.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop associates to maintain a cohesive team.
• Promote a positive morale and friendly attitude across teams.
• Monitor inter-departmental communication for timely information flow.
• Develop and execute long- and short-term financial objectives and meet budget goals.
• Review cost accounts weekly and control expenses.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and outages are resolved quickly.
• Complete administrative duties: scheduling, payroll, inventory, orders, production controls.
• Ensure compliance with company rules and policies; implement new rules as needed.
• Maintain certification from brand-approved vendor training; engage in community involvement.
• Inspect guestrooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
