Hospitality Management Corporation is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Travelodge by Wyndham in Cheyenne, WY. The role oversees all hotel operations and provides support to the General Manager.

Lead department heads, supervise staff, assist with hiring and performance reviews, and address guest concerns to ensure service quality and brand standards. Weekend and night availability required.

Qualifications

• Strong management skills and ability to delegate and coach others.
• Experience in hospitality leadership and guest service standards.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and nights.

Responsabilités

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and overall property management.
• Supervise department heads and staff to ensure policies and service standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Handle guest concerns and ensure prompt service recovery.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate reports including cash flow, aging, billing and inventory.
• Lead morning meetings in GM’s absence and assist with business planning.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and brand standards.
• Perform property and room inspections; oversee maintenance and FF&E.
• Collaborate with sales on client relations and new business opportunities.
• Fill in across departments when needed and respond to emergencies.
• Support audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
