Job summary

Stonebridge Companies is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Ocean City, MD to support the General Manager in hotel operations, with emphasis on front-of-house and housekeeping. You will help manage daily operations and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding company standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel management, strong knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and leadership. You will lead staff, contribute to budgeting, and coordinate with departments to optimize occupancy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in front-of-house or rooms division.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage staff and guest relations.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations with focus on front-of-house and housekeeping.
• Provide market analysis and event forecasts to the Revenue Management Department to optimize occupancy and rates.
• Support sales by training front office and reservation teams on rate structures and yield management.
• Lead front desk staff in front office operations, revenue management tasks, and guest service protocols.
• Assist in budget creation and forecast changes in operating expenses and labor costs.
• Adjust controllable expenses based on monthly revenue forecasts to protect margins.
• Assist with cash handling, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll in the GM's absence.
• Train staff to deliver high-quality guest services and address guest complaints.
