Job summary

Extended-Stay-Hotel in Lombard, IL seeks a Team Lead to support the General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring optimum performance and guest satisfaction. The role resolves guest and associate issues, enforces safety procedures, and develops efficiency and profitability across property management tasks.

The TL will assist with training, budgeting, and revenue initiatives, stepping in for the GM when required and maintaining a strong service culture across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Solid English reading, writing and verbal communication to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to operate the property management system.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for budgeting and inventory.
• Supervise daily activities of 8 to 15 hourly associates.
• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assists the GM in managing daily hotel operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Resolves guest and associate issues and ensures safety and security policies are followed.
• Trains associates on brand standards and job performance expectations.
• Monitors inventory, expenses, and budgets to meet EBITDA goals.
• Acts as GM when required and provides backup coverage as needed.
