Job summary

Extended Stay America in Torrance, CA seeks a Team Lead to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations and to drive performance toward KPI targets and guest satisfaction. This role also steps in for the GM when needed and ensures safety standards are followed.

You will supervise 8–15 hourly associates, promote company initiatives, and assist with budgeting, purchasing, and vendor management to maximize GOP and EBITDA. Prior hotel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Promote a 100% guest satisfaction experience and assist GM in driving revenue and controlling costs.
• Assist with training associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Uphold policies and ensure safety compliance across the hotel.
• Monitor guest balances and refund processes with GM oversight.
• Oversee daily operations and inventory within budget and approved vendors.
• Serve as the first point of contact for guest service issues and escalate when needed.
• Lead with the company service culture and inspire hourly associates to meet guest expectations.
• Provide back-up coverage for front desk and housekeeping when required.
