Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations, focusing on guest satisfaction and financial performance. The TL resolves guest and associate issues, trains staff on brand standards, and supports safety and policy adherence.

The role also involves monitoring inventory, budgeting, and acting as the GM when necessary to maximize revenue and control costs, while maintaining an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists the GM in managing hotel operations to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Resolves guest and associate issues and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Trains associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Monitors inventory and purchases to stay within budget and support GOP/EBITDA.
• Serves as first contact for guest service issues and escalates to GM as needed.
