Job summary

Extended Stay America in Vernon Hills, IL seeks a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and strong performance metrics. You will train staff, enforce safety standards, and manage guest issues while supporting revenue growth and cost control.

The role involves supervising 8–15 hourly associates, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining brand standards to deliver a consistent guest experience across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior hotel experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing day-to-day hotel operations to maximize performance and KPI targets.
• Resolve guest and associate issues and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Train associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Enforce company standards and policy compliance at the hotel level.
• Monitor guest balances and vendor purchases to maximize GOP and EBITDA.
• Serve as first contact for guest service issues and escalate when needed.
• Support sales-related activities to increase occupancy and revenue.
