Job summary

Holiday Inn Lucedale is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help direct all hotel operations and deliver a superior guest experience. You will supervise front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance while ensuring safety, financial viability, and ownership expectations are met.

The role requires strong leadership, revenue generation focus, and the ability to train and develop department leaders in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental sales plan with Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Generate revenue through continuous communication on income streams.
• Research market areas and create data-based sales strategies.
• Set hotel goals—qualitative and quantitative.
• Develop business and financial plans for the hotel.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with debt and lease obligations.
• Foster staff development through training and performance systems.
• Maintain exceptional guest relations and service standards.
• Support GM in their absence and safeguard brand reputation.
