Job summary

Extended Stay America in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM and oversee hourly staff, including scheduling, direction, training, and day-to-day operations. You’ll drive guest satisfaction and maintain safety and security standards across the property.

The AGM will lead onboarding, ensure training completion, and promote compliance with company policies while managing revenue initiatives and daily operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience in a hospitality or retail establishment is required.
• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some job-related college level courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests.
• Become trained in all managerial functions and operations at the hotel level.
• Ensures all associates are properly onboarded, trained and complete ESU required training timely.
• Promotes compliance with company policies and safety guidelines at the property level.
• Drive initiatives to increase revenue, lower costs and guest/associate satisfaction.
• Serves as first level management contact for guest service issues and resolves issues promptly.
