Job summary

ESA Management, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep hotel property equipment functioning, guest rooms in good repair, and premises pristine. You will follow Green Shield Binder procedures and manage maintenance tasks on schedule.

The role involves preventative maintenance, record-keeping, safety compliance, and occasional travel to sister sites. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Works with minimal supervision while performing duties to satisfaction and within company standards.
• Responds to and assists with all guest requests with diligent follow-through in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Performs the out of room cleaning outlined in the Green Shield Binder to ensure premises are maintained in pristine condition including debris removal and snow/ice duties where applicable.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders and follows the work order process as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Follows the Green Shield Inspection schedule daily to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion per company standards.
• Maintains records as outlined within the Green Shield Binder (Guest Room PM deficiencies, PM Room Inspections, Life Safety Inspections, Elevator Inspections and Non-Guest Room Deficiency Log).
• Follows the outlined workflow on the Green Shield Schedule, utilizes the SOPs as a reference guide to complete all tasks per company standards.
• Maintains organized and clean work area in the maintenance room, safeguarding all maintenance tool inventory daily.
• Maintains clean and organized boiler rooms, electric rooms, HVAC rooms, fire sprinkler rooms, per standards and local ordinances.
• Ensures that all fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Complies with safety and security policies including OSHA and ADA.
• Maintains pool/spa where applicable per ESA policies.
• Handles emergencies at the property or sister sites when asked by management.
• Monitors and coordinates with outside vendors as directed by management.
• Assists with cleaning hotel areas as needed.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
